Practice Symposium in Wellington
Exciting Opportunity to be on the cutting edge of strengths-based practice. Wellington 14-15 September 2009
Dr Barry Duncan will be leading a 2 day interactive symposium on how to achieve greater effectiveness in the Social Services. New Research highlights how we can spark creative & effective change by building a culture of feedback with clients – this symposium will be a catalyst for that change. This symposium is about “walking the talk of strength-based practice”.
- Learn about research findings that reveal the largest and most significant common factor contributing to positive therapeutic outcomes is also the most ignored factor.
- Learn about why the “HOW” aspects are more critical than the “WHAT” aspects in facilitating leaps in effectiveness
- Receive practical training in how to use these tools
- Participate in cross-sector forums to test and anchor the new knowledge
- Be inspired, challenged and empowered
